Thank you for your interest in Smoky Mountain Rowing Club (SMRC). SMRC is a community rowing club focused on providing the best rowing experience in the scenic foothills of East Tennessee. The club boathouse is located in Louisville, Tenn., and is convenient to the greater Knoxville area including Maryville, Oak Ridge and Farragut.

SMRC, a member of US Rowing, offers recreational and competitive rowing programs for adults and youth. The club is dedicated to helping its members get exactly what they want out of rowing – whether it be for exercise, fun, competition or meeting lifelong friends and teammates.

To help individuals determine if rowing is the right sport for them, SMRC offers a unique and free “Learn to Row” experience. This two hour discovery class introduces the required skills for successful sweep rowing in eight and four-person boats, while providing a great workout and lots of fun.
